This compact and lightweight AI smart camera features Prophesee’s EVS (Event-Based Vision Sensor). By capturing only, the changes or events within a scene, EVS offers an extremely high temporal resolution (equivalent to 10K frames), wide dynamic range characteristics, and reduced data bandwidth compared to conventional frame-based image sensors.
Proposed applications include spatter/droplet monitoring, high speed motion capture, intrusion detection under harsh lighting conditions, etc.
